Bowl Playoff Series
With the National Championship happening tonight I need to throw in my 2 cents. There needs to be a playoff system without disrupting the bowl system. Here’s the answer: Make the 4 major BCS bowls (Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Orange) the first round of the playoffs. Then the winner of the Rose & Fiesta play each other and the winner of the Sugar & Orange play the following week. The winners of those game play in the National Championship which would be 2 weeks after New Years. This way we have 8 teams in the tournament with an equal shot - we only add 2 games and 1 week to the schedule.
